AN INTERESTING NOTE...
Sylvia is a 3rd generation San Diegan whose grandfather was one of the first physicians to service the county in the early 1920s. In fact, her parents still live in the home her father was born in, and Sylvia and her husband live in a house in Point Loma that her great-uncle built in 1925! Needless to say, her San Diego roots run deep.

Her love for this city also runs deep, and is manifested in many ways. A self-proclaimed city ambassador, she manages a Facebook page called Coastal Life San Diego on which she provides ideas for "off-the-beaten path things to do, eat, and wear in San Diego".

    Sylvia is a superhero! I’m so grateful that we chose her as our buyer’s agent. She was so patient with all our silly first-time homebuyer’s questions, took us to see a TON of houses, and was available literally night and day (we were seriously texting back and forth at like 9 pm some nights). And then we finally found a house we LOVED and Sylvia moved heaven and earth to make it happen. It was an older house so we had a ton of inspections done, and I realize now I didn’t schedule a single one. Sylvia handled it all! She would also go to supervise when I couldn’t because I was stuck at work.And as if this all wasn’t enough, Sylvia really went to bat negotiating for us. There were some issues with the home that had to be fixed, and Sylvia stood strong to make sure the sellers delivered. She even got the sellers to cover closing costs because there are a few bigger issues we’ll have to deal with down the road. I am so grateful that I had her in my corner, because I have the negotiating prowess of a limp noodle. Sylvia went entirely above and beyond for us…I still can’t believe all she did. Call Sylvia! She’s literally the best.

    I recently used Sylvia as my realtor for selling my mother's home after she had passed away.Sylvia was incredibly patient and took her time to explain everything including the pros and cons of putting money into the house vs selling as is and explaining offers that were made from buyers in detail. This was my first time selling a home. Sylvia made it as easy as possible for me. Further she also was my realtor for the purchase of a condo. She showed me multiple properties and did not rush me into buying anything. I cannot recommend Sylvia more than enough. She's much better than anyone realtor I've worked with in the past. What Sylvia will do for you that other realtors won't: - See into the future. She anticipated several scenarios that could have killed both deals and took proactive action ahead of those situations being realized.. For example, we were selling a condo in a building that typically did not qualify for traditional financing. She worked with her mortgage broker to get an exception and allow for traditional loans. That was incredibly timely because we sold in July 2022, when the pool of buyers had greatly shrunk. - Intuitive understand our needs. She helped us find a property in a tight market without much inventory. She didn't waste our time suggesting properties we didn't want to pursue. - Intuitively identify and negotiate the best price. We did well on both of our deals. We were about to hit the panic button on the property we sold but heeded Sylvia's advice. She was 100% correct. - Provide a timely response. I don't know how she does it, but we felt like we were her only client at a time when she had multiple listings. She responds almost immediately to every text or phone call. - Go the extra mile. She came up with a plan to prep, paint and update the condo prior to sale. She identified a contractor for glazing countertops and negotiated down the price. She negotiated on cost for us a number of times throughout both sales. I've worked with others and not had anywhere near this level of service.

    We can't possibly thank Sylvia enough. Five stars doesn't even begin to express her skills as an agent and as a solid human being. Last year we bought our home through Sylvia because we'd seen her in action before in our neighborhood and thought, when the day comes, Sylvia's our girl. After buying our dream house with Sylvia, we decided to sell our other house. It was a long process, but Sylvia stayed strong and positive which kept us going. She's tough and doesn't take $4!t from anyone, even us. But she knows when to be tough and when to be gentle. More than once she was more of a therapist than an agent. But her toughness, insight, and masterful skills grossed us almost 20% more than we had originally planned. We have seen a lot of agents, most of whom we didn't care for. Sylvia isn't the agent you see on bus stop ads with the same hair. She doesn't BS you into buying what you don't need or want and certainly doesn't just go for the easy sale.     Sylvia Lange is passionate in all that she does; the word REALTOR does not do her justice. My wife and I relocated to San Diego and were looking to set down permanent roots.
